Each UFO is precision CNC machined to a tolerance of 0.005”. Also, each top features a ceramic spin ball that is 8x harder than steel and nearly perfectly smooth. POST TREATMENT: After each piece is precision machined, anodizing and laser etching is performed. After anodizing a precision laser etches very fine details onto the top and bottom of the UFO. This precision is the size of a human hair 0.001”. These fine entails label the UFO with the name and UFO sighting date and provide unique details that highlight the uniqueness of the UFO. These details also create a visual display when spun. LONG SPINNING, PERFECTLY BALANCED: With some skill and practice each of the Triangulum aluminum models can achieve a spin time in excess of 4 minutes. The top feels like it will spin forever. After a short duration the top will enter hover mode – is when the top has achieved perfect balance. Once achieved it feels like the top is standing still or hovering.
